Meet the Owner- Dakota Eierman

At Shady Side, we value the personal relationship between us and our customers. For that reason…

Meet Dakota Eierman, born and raised in Kent Island, Maryland. Dakota attended DeMatha Catholic high school, becoming a captain for the Men’s Lacrosse team. He pursued lacrosse in College at Lehigh University as a part of the class of 2025, graduating with a Bachelor’s in Psychology. Dakota became a captain of the Lehigh Men’s Lacrosse team his senior year and earned 1st team all conference accolades as well as a Patriot League Championship title. After college, Dakota was drafted into the National Lacrosse League (NLL) for the Toronto Rock.

Throughout his life, he had been surrounded by different sports communities. This is where he found the idea for Shady Side Service. He had consistently seen the amount of effort and work it took for parents to ensure their kids had a good experience at sporting events. Much of this time and effort was put into event planning and setup. His goal was to create a company that made this process convenient and effective.

“I started Shady Side Service because I saw a major gap in the sporting event industry. People spend a lot of time planning their event logistics to ensure their kids will be well taken care of and equipped to succeed.

My goal is to make sure that when you step into a setup from Shady Side, you won’t have to worry about the logistics or “what-ifs”. I want to give my clients the one thing that is truly priceless in this business, the ability to enjoy your time.. at your events.. stress free. Knowing everything will be taken care of by your friends at Shady Side”
